☀️The day itself

• Date: Monday 31 August 2026 — Bank Holiday Monday
• Time: 11am – 4pm
• Where: Anselmians RUFC, Eastham Village Road, Eastham, Wirral, CH62 0AN
• It’s an outdoor event — fingers crossed for sunshine!

Thank you for your interest in our Family Fun Day. Please read everything on this page carefully before applying — then grab the booking form at the bottom. Every penny raised goes towards Fin’s heart surgery.

🎪Pick your pitch

• Regular pitch £25 3m × 3m
• Large pitch £40 6m × 3m

Selling fresh food or drink made to order? Catering fees apply — just have a chat with our team when you book.

⏰On the day

• Arrive between 9am and 10am at the latest — the gates open to the public at 11am, so please be prompt.
• There’s stallholder parking right next to the event.
• You’ll need to carry your kit to your pitch. It’s a very short walk, but a sack truck is a great shout — we don’t have enough staff to lend a hand.
• No packing down before 3:30pm unless a member of staff says otherwise, and vehicles can’t drive onto the pitch area.
• Bring your own gazebo, tables and chairs — we can’t provide these, and set-up and take-down are down to you and your helpers.
• Sadly no electricity is available at this event.
• Cash is king! There’s no Wi-Fi at the venue and phone signal can be patchy, so card readers may struggle. Check with your provider before the day and bring a cash float — we can’t supply change.
• Please take your rubbish home with you at the end of the day.
• Look after your stock, float and furniture — we can’t accept liability for loss or damage during the event.

📋Booking, payment & insurance

• All stallholders must send us an up-to-date copy of their Public Liability Insurance at least 3 weeks before the event — no PLI, no set-up, sorry!
• If you’re selected, we’ll send a payment link once you’ve ticked the box on the booking form confirming you’ve read this page.
• Your spot isn’t secure until payment lands — unpaid pitches may be offered to someone else.

📣Visitors & getting the word out

• Footfall: honestly, it depends on the weather — so we can’t guarantee numbers.
• We’ll be shouting about the day non-stop: social media, Wirral event websites, posters and signage around the local area, and right here on our site.
• We’ll send you ready-made graphics so you can tell your followers you’re coming.
• We love highlighting who’s attending — we’ll share stories and products on our website and socials wherever we can.

🌧️Weather & cancellations

• We aim to run rain or shine. All in for Fin and Anselmians RUFC will check the Met Office forecast 24 hours before — if it’s truly unsuitable (heavy wind or rain), we’ll cancel and refund all pitch fees in full.
• We’ll also cancel if the Met Office issues a weather warning for wet or hot weather — the safety of you, our visitors, our staff and of course the dogs comes first.
• If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the event, we reserve the right to keep your pitch fee. No-shows on the day forfeit theirs too.
• Demand for space is expected to be high — book promptly! Bookings aren’t first come, first served though: we pick a good mix of stalls so there’s plenty of variety for visitors (and no one’s competing with five identical neighbours).
• If you’re not selected this time, we’ll pop you on our reserve list.
